This one wasn't planned when I was working on the ending. It's another one where the character ran away with the story. Herbert was just the sort of fish to hire puppies to sing his praises, so I had to put it in.

Merry Christmas! Er, Happy New Year!

A bit late on this one, but with the holiday, that's the case with the whole Lunch Notes! In fact, I had just enough drawn for the last day of school before winter break. Had they had one more day, I'd have missed one for the first time since they started! But with the kids off from school, I've been able to make more, so my daughter will have one when classes start up again.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow! Unexpectedly (to me), the Lunch Notes have been going on for just over a year – I started not long before last Thanksgiving. At the time, I didn't realize how big the story would get (although by Christmas, I'd clearly learned, since I had to leave off for the school holiday vacation). So this year I'll wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for reading!
