One of the joys of doing this story, as an illustrator, is getting to draw a teddy bear rolling its eyes at the ridiculous thing an evil king says. Even typing that sentence out was fun.

This is one page where the characters influenced the art. When I conceived it, I thought everyone would run away from the flying swords. Then, when I thought about it, Prince Mo and the Chief Ninja aren't the type of guys to run away from anything. So the final drawing has them acting accordingly.

The Lunch Notes are back! Had a bit of hiatus due to travel. In Hong Kong and Japan! Japan was especially exciting because I've never been there before. And it was good to see family and friends in Hong Kong again.
But now I'm back (and over jet-lag, which also influenced these not getting posted) so the Notes are up and running again!
